Artist’s Statement:
My inspiration came from the colors in the fabric. The large puzzle piece motifs in orange and blue inspired me to deconstruct the puzzle and reconstruct a vertical motif.
This quilt was created as part of Project Patchwork, a partnership between IKEA and Textile Center. Artists were challenged to make an art quilt using only IKEA fabrics.
