Artist’s Statement:
Our world is full of circles. Seasons, days, years; the circle of life. Sometimes circles are calming and predictable. Sometimes circles make your "eyes go coo-coo." I like the movement with the combination of circles and stripes in this piece.
This quilt was created as part of Project Patchwork, a partnership between IKEA and Textile Center. Artists were challenged to make an art quilt using only IKEA fabrics.
