Artist’s Statement:
Inspired by the fabric in the shape of windmill blades. I decided to do a pictorial of a Belgian landscape in the style of Camille Pissarro. Take a book, wonder aside the tulips, down the garden path-sit by the lake and take in an old fashioned windmill-Enjoy!
This quilt was created as part of Project Patchwork, a partnership between IKEA and Textile Center. Artists were challenged to make an art quilt using only IKEA fabrics.
